A Maya Angelou Reading Series

Posted on June 11, 2014 at 9:35 PM

Like many of you, we were saddened to hear of Maya Angelou's passing. In the the African American tradition, of course, we mourn her loss while enthusiastically celebrating her life. In that spirit we've decided to launch our book group, BookTalk Sisters, by reading a series of Sistah Angelou's memoirs. Whether you know the transformative power of her words or have yet to read her, we want to share in this reading experience with community. So join us for one the following discussions and see the Maya Angelou Reading Series page for more information.
